College of Teacher Education, Bhopal MANUU (Madhya Pradesh) is constituent college of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad. The College was established in 2006 to meet the ever increasing needs of the Urdu Medium Secondary and Higher Secondary School Teachers in Madhya Pradesh in particular and the Nation as a whole. College has completed 7 years of its existence. Development and growth of the institution in past 7 years has been phenomenal. Laboratories are strengthened, and Library is well stock with the publication of international and national text and reference books, journals, encyclopedia. College feels encouraged with the brilliant performance of its students in University examinations. The merit of our students is reflected in various public examinations like – CTET, UPTET, BTER, WBTET and other similar qualifying examinations across the Nation. Further our students are placed in many of the reputed Government / Private schools.

Along with the computerization of our Library, Which consists of more than 4500 text books, Reference books, Journals and Encyclopedias with a reading capacity of 100 students at a time. Internet facility is made available for the use of both the students and the faculty. The institute strives to provide quality teacher education, thereby preparing the competent and committed teachers to the school system. The faculty is continuously involved in research and publication work. The college has earned the credibility of being an unique institution imparting quality teacher education in Urdu medium in the central region. The M.Ed. programme of the college would help to cater to the academic development of the B.Ed. students who passed out of this institution / other institutions who studied in Urdu medium.
